FAREWELL SOCIAL -2024
Description:
A farewell social was
organized for the passing out batch of class XIIs on the 3rd of
February 2024, an event the class eleven students had been waiting eagerly for,
for over a month.
The program commenced at
11:00 a.m. with the cake-cutting ceremony by Sister Igora, our principal Mrs.
Alice Rose D’Lima, the 3 class teachers of 12th, and the council
members of 12th. This was followed by the dances which were
completely self-choreographed by the students of class 11s. The morning was
marked with fun and frolic that had a medley performance which included maximum
participation from the students and the students had tried to incorporate as
many musical instruments as they could. It included clap box, guitar, and tambourine.
The students had also created a mashup of Bollywood and Hollywood songs which
everyone was familiar with and aroused the feeling of nostalgia amongst the 12s.
After the melody, the students of class 11 performed a
skit inspired by the iconic scenes from the show ‘Brooklyn 99’. Moving further
with the show, the council members sang a special ‘farewell song’ composed by
one of the students. The student council also performed a stand-up to ensure
laughter on an otherwise somber and nostalgic morning. All in all, it was an enjoyable morning
thoroughly enjoyed by the batch of 2024.
