Loreto Convent School, Delhi, is an unaided minority Christian School owned, managed and conducted by the Loreto Educational Society (Loreto Nuns) registered under the Societies Registration Act.
This school is meant primarily for the children of Defence Personnel, Civilians, especially Catholics, are also admitted.
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and prepares girls for the Board's examinations in Class X and XII.
This Loreto School is part of an international educational organisation with branches in many countries. Our educational institutions are open to girls of all religions, but we have special concern for Catholics. We are strongly committed to the cause of Justice and therefore we offer educational opportunities also to the weaker section of society.
We see each girl as a unique and precious gift to her family and society, a person created by God to know and love Him and to work for Him by making this world a better place to live in. Parents are the first and most important educators of their children. School education can only be built on the foundation laid by the family.
In each child we serve Jesus Christ who said: 'In as much as you did this (act of service) to one of the least of these you did to me'. |
