Blue Hope ~ a musical
The
valedictory function of Mary Ward Jubilee Year was held on 2, 3
& 4 Feb 2010. All students of classes 3-9 & 11
participated in the Musical concert ‘Blue Hope'.
Inspired
by the clean Yamuna campaign and our whole hearted participation in
the event, led to the conceptualization of this musical. The theme
of Water – its significance and conservation is the message
conveyed by our Green Warriors.
Our
students are eager to carry the campaign forward to several
other schools as well, through this programme. This campaign to
empower our students to secure the future of Planet Earth will lead
to the empowering of our nation. This
concert is a clarion call for more public engagement lest the
world's ecosystems collapse. We
strongly believe that every Loretoite is an achiever who can make a
difference.

DISASTER MANAGEMENT
We at Loreto are
committed towards the overall development of our students. One of
our goals is to equip our students to cope with disasters. On 13th
May 2009, we invited a Senior Specialist Brig(Retd) Dr. B. K. Khanna

The
teachers-in-charge, Ms. N. Davies and Ms. Antony ensured the active
participation of students in order to sensitize them towards social
issues. They made posters depicting the adverse effects of tobacco
